Neuro Rehab Works is the creation of Occupational Therapist Sandy LeBlanc, who has 16 years experience working in neuro-rehab. Sandy has gained a breadth and depth of experience and skills in Australia and the UK and holds a genuine passion for OT. She is a member of COT/BAOT, including Specialist Sections for Neurological and Independent Practice.

Sandy worked for many years within the NHS, as a senior clinician in acute and inpatient rehabilitation, community rehabilitation and then as a complex neuro navigator. She was a member of the Neuroscience Strategic Clinical Network Leadership Group, representing community rehab. She was also chair of the pan-London Neuro Rehab Leads, a group of navigating clinicians. This experience gives a good perspective of what is available and ‘how the system works’ – a real advantage. Sandy also completes medico-legal assessments, providing another unique view.

Sandy values an interdisciplinary approach to rehab and welcomes work with other organisations and professionals. She now works solely in private practice and specialises in community based neuro-rehabilitation and vocational rehabilitation – A return to home, life and work.
